Apart from the attractive membership benefits you are entitled to, members are also part owners of our business. You have a say in what we do and how the business is run.
Over the years, listening to opinion from members has given insight that has helped shape us into the strong business we are today. And your involvement in this decision making will continue in the future.
Voices and votes matter.
Members hold important democratic rights. Eligible members are entitled to attend our Annual General Meeting where you have the opportunity to vote on important issues and motions. As an eligible member you can also vote for Directors in Board elections and even stand to be a Board Director yourself. In return, we will send you certain information on business performance and how we are meeting our strategic objectives in relation to our communities and the environment, for example.
Being involved matters too.
Members also have the opportunity to take an active part in the listening groups and surveys that we hold. These are important forums where members can have a say on many issues.
We’ll share our surveys and details of upcoming listening groups near you by email throughout the year.
