Our 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday 11 June.
More details, including how to book your place, will be shared in due course.
Who can attend?
We welcome any member to the AGM, but to submit or vote on motions you must:
- be at least 16 years of age on 19 March 2025
- have been a member for at least 6 months as at 19 March 2025
- have spent at least £1 with Southern Co-op in the year 20 March 2024 to 19 March 2025.
What happens at the AGM?
Members will hear from our Chair, Chief Executive and other members of the Board and Leadership Team in relation to Southern Co-op’s activities over the last year and plans for the future. Members are asked to approve the Board’s Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year and receive the Report of the Board’s Remuneration Committee.
How can I use my member voice?
Members joining our AGM are invited to ask questions on matters to be discussed at the meeting. Where members submit questions at least 7 days in advance, these will be prioritised and answered, where we have time. Questions will also be taken from those attending on the day, also where we have time.
Members eligible to vote, with the support of a seconder, can ask for a motion to be heard at the meeting providing this is received by 19 March 2025, and is determined to be a valid motion. For more details see our Standing Orders for Members’ Meetings
Members eligible to vote, who are not able to join the AGM, will be offered the opportunity to vote by proxy, by instructing the Board’s Chair on how their votes should be cast at the meeting.
Further information on the specific content of the 2025 AGM and our Annual Report and Financial Statements will be available from our website no later than 20 May 2025.
