Uber Eats delivers new partnership with local co-ops

Co-operative Food stores across Southampton have launched on Uber Eats offering over 1,600 items for delivery in less than 30 minutes.

Groceries, everyday essentials and frozen items are now available from local co-ops for 30 minute delivery through Uber Eats across Southampton.

Now, locals will be able to order more than 1,600 items from The Co-operative Food stores across five sites across Southampton. To celebrate the launch Uber Eats will be offering 50% off orders from these co-operative stores for customers new to ordering groceries on Uber Eats*.

Uber Eats is also revealing that consumer behaviours are shifting towards healthier choices. Nine out of ten items growing the fastest according to grocery orders made on Uber Eats are for healthy food items.

According to Uber Eats’ first Impact Report, authored by Public First, the delivery app contributed £3.2bn** to the UK economy in 2020, as well as creating £68 million in additional income for couriers.
