1. This competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents of the UK, aged 18 and over who are members of The Southern Co-operative Limited (“Southern Co-op”) who were contacted with the member survey email sent on 16 December 2025. Proof of identity and age may be required. 
  2. By participating in the Competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and the specific details of the Competition set out in the member survey email sent on 16 December 2025 
  3. To enter the Competition members must complete the online member survey in full which was sent to them via the member survey email on 16 December 2025. 
  4. There are 50 prizes of one £25 Southern Co-op gift cards to be won. The winners will be picked at random from all the valid entries and notified by email. 
  5. You may only enter the Competition once and any duplicate entries will be eliminated. 
  6. The deadline for entries to the Competition is 23:59pm on 31 December 2025 Entries made after the deadline shall not be eligible to take part in the Competition. 
  7. No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition but the member survey must be completed in full. 
  8. Southern Co-op accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt by Southern Co-op. 
  9. Southern Co-op reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative, if necessary, at Southern Co-op’s discretion. 
  10. The prizes include no costs associated with the prizes and not specifically included in the prizes. 
  11. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or another prize. 
  12. If a winner does not respond to Southern Co-op within 7 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Southern Co-op shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 7 days or they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and Southern Co-op shall be entitled to select another winner. Where applicable, the judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  13. The Prizes will be delivered at Southern Co-op’s cost but at the winners’ risk from 12 January 2026 and the winners shall allow 28 days for delivery of the prize. Southern Co-op accepts no responsibility for the prizes being lost, damaged or delayed in the post. 
  14. Depending on the nature of the Competition, at Southern Co-op’s discretion, the surname and county of the winners will be provided up to a month after the closing date on receipt of a request enclosing a stamped addressed envelope to: The Southern Co-operative Limited Member Support, 1000 Lakeside Western Road Portsmouth PO6 3FE or by emailing: [email protected]. 
  15. The winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Competition and the winners shall participate in such activity on Southern Co-op’s reasonable request. The Winners consent to the use by Southern Co-op, its related companies and any other person directly connected with the administration of the Competition for a reasonable time, of the winners’ image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including on the internet on any websites hosted by Southern Co-op, its related companies and its partners and in advertising, marketing or promotional material) without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the same.

  17. Southern Co-op accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prizes. Southern Co-op further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of Southern Co-op for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence. 
  18. Southern Co-op reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Southern Co-op in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  19. Southern Co-op shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. 
  20. The Competition will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the Competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
