The Co‑operative Food store in Leigh Road, Southampton, has earnt a gold award at this year’s Eastleigh Customer Experience Awards 2022.

A total of 80 businesses participated in the ‘Mystery Shopper’ experience across 11 different categories with bronze, silver and gold awards for each category and an overall winner.

Insight6, which carried out the mystery shop and prepared the confidential reports, rated the store and its colleagues 100% for online presence, outside and overall impressions.

The report complimented the ‘very friendly and welcoming manner’ of the colleague at the tills and ‘would strongly recommend the shop to others based on the customer service’.
