A new Starbucks® store opening in Orpington on Wednesday 10 March will create 16 new jobs.

Part of a regional co-operative family, the store in Springvale Retail Park will be operated by Starbucks® licensee, Cobra Coffee.

The new store team will be celebrating the opening by giving away complimentary reusable cups to 50 lucky customers every day for the first week. 

Ricardo Chambilla, the new Store Manager who lives locally, said: “I have already heard from locals in the area who are excited to have a new coffee option in Orpington as well as the option of a Drive Thru. 

“We will be open for takeaways and will be closely following the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

Part of Southern Co-op, the store will be the first Starbucks® in Orpington where customers will be able to enjoy their favourite Starbucks® beverage and try the new Spring menu, including the Chocolate Chip Cookie Latte, Spinach & Pea Falafel Wrap, and the Chicken, Mozzarella & Pesto Focaccia. 

Customers may also try Starbucks® latest dairy alternative, the Starbucks™ Original Nut Blend – a blend of hazelnut and cashew nuts, crafted specifically for a superior coffee experience. 

In accordance with the latest government guidance, the store will be ‘to-go’ only. While seating is not available for use inside our store, customers can still order inside for takeaway.

 A delivery service with Uber Eats will be set up by the end of the month. 

The new store is conveniently located at Unit 7, Springvale Retail Park, Sevenoaks Way, Orpington, BR5 3SG, and open from 6.30am until 7.00pm, Monday to Saturday, and 8.30am until 6.00pm on Sunday. 

Starbucks® coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme. Starbucks® offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.
