A new Starbucks store will open on Reigate High Street on Friday 7 February. Operated by Starbucks licensee Cobra Coffee (part of Southern Co-op), the store will create 12 new jobs for the local area.  

To celebrate the opening, the store will host a Friends and Family event on Thursday 6 February at 4pm, with a ribbon cutting at 5pm by the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Keith Foreman, and Mayoress Mrs Helen Foreman. There will be reusable cups for sale to support the store’s chosen charity partner, Loveworks. The reusable cups have been hand painted with the theme ‘Reigate Stories’ by youth members of Inner Art Tuition in Surrey & Sussex. 

Starbucks offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink. Vouchers for a discount on a delicious Starbucks handcrafted beverage will also be distributed in the local area, including Buy One Get One Free and 50p off vouchers.

At the Friends and Family event the store will fundraise for its charity partner, Loveworks, through a raffle featuring a hamper made up of Starbucks products. Over the past 10 years, Loveworks has supported over 5,500 in need in the Reigate area, helping alleviate hunger, social isolation and loneliness, and providing confidence and resilience coaching. The Reigate store team looks forward to supporting this important cause and continuing Starbucks values by building strong and lasting relationships within store communities through partnerships with local charities, community groups and residents.

Starbucks coffee is 99% ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme.

The new store is conveniently located at 27 High Street, Reigate, RH2 9AP and is open from 7am – 8pm, Monday through Friday, and 8am – 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
