Question 1: Why do you think you would be a good director of Southern Co-op?
With extensive experience across various industries, I am recognised for my ability to enhance efficiency through innovative problem-solving approaches. I hold an MBA in International Business Communication from Italy, following my degree in Economics. This academic background has equipped me for roles in business development and management.
After relocating abroad, my interest pivoted to Data Science, leading me to opportunities in IT companies. One notable position was with SaveOnFood, a leading grocery store in Canada. Initially, I worked on the floor, which provided valuable insights into the operational aspects of the food industry. Subsequently, I transitioned to a Tech Support role at the head office. Both experiences have deepened my understanding of industry standards and reinforced my commitment to accuracy and high-quality performance.
Question 2: How do you demonstrate Southern Co-op’s values in your own life?
I firmly believe that prioritising the customer is a winning philosophy and this approach should be integrated at every level of the organisation.
I make a conscious effort to purchase and promote locally sourced products, helping regional farmers and producers thrive. Sustainability is important to me, so I adopt and advocate for practices such as reducing waste, recycling, and conserving resources. I strive to lead by example, making decisions that reflect integrity, fairness, and social responsibility.
