I spent my early career in retail management with Marks & Spencer working in a variety of locations across the country including Fareham, Altrincham, Manchester, Kings Lynn and Kingston on Thames. I also supported the opening of a new department store for Fenwick Limited in Tunbridge Wells before leaving the world of retail and joining the London Stock Exchange as a personnel manager.

Later roles include working at the Audit Commission as HR Director for District Audit and then joining the NHS spending the next 20 years as a HR Director of hospital trusts in London and Dorset.

In my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs and also support several dog rescues to get dogs re-homed. I live in a vibrant and friendly  village in East Dorset where the local Southern Co-op shop is a key part of our local community.
