Dear Dave Burns, Thank you for your kind words! We truly appreciate your loyalty over the years and are delighted to hear that you've had positive experiences with us. Best regards,I live close by and I often visit the shop. Elliott and the team are always helpful and friendly. Nick goes the extra mile if a product is not on display and checks the stock room, which is much appreciated.
Dear Chris Mabbatt, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience at The Co-operative Food Newbury, Pound Street. We are thrilled to hear that Elliott, Nick, and the rest of the team have been able to provide you with friendly and helpful service. It's wonderful to know that Nick's efforts to check the stock room for products are appreciated by our valued customers like you. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we are delighted to receive a 5-star rating from you. We strive to maintain high standards of service and ensure that every visit to our store is a pleasant one. Best regards, MichelleGood local store although more expensive than other supermarkets. They are the only store that does compostable bags which is brilliant. They now have a recycling soft plastic bin. Staff are lovely. You can buy most essentials here including stationary, cards, magazines. They have a great frozen food section for Thai, Indian, British foods, including deserts. Fresh veg and fruit but hardly any loose, unpackaged which isn't good.
Hi Carolyn, thank you for taking the time to review our store. we really appreciate your feedback. We will pass these onto the Store Manager to share with the team. Regarding your feedback on our prices, we have shared your feedback with our Products & Services team. We operate over 200 convenience stores across the South and due to the nature of our operations some of our prices will be more than the major retailers; however we do endeavour for our prices to be in line with other convenience store operators. Thanks Michelle
