Southern Co-op Member tastecard Promotion September 2026 – Terms and Conditions

1. This promotion is open only to selected Southern Co-op members aged 18 or over who have received the promotional email directly from Southern Co-op.
2. To qualify for a free 12-month tastecard membership, eligible members must spend £30 or more in a single transaction between 7/9/26 and 5/10/26 at a participating Southern Co-op food store.
3. The qualifying transaction must be completed using the member’s Southern Co-op membership card at the time of purchase.
4. The £30 minimum spend must be achieved in a single transaction. Multiple transactions cannot be combined.
5. Qualifying purchases are valid only at Southern Co-op owned food stores. Purchases made at Welcome franchise stores, other Co-op society stores or through third-party retailers (such as home delivery aggregators) are excluded.
6. The following purchases are excluded from the qualifying spend calculation:
   • Tobacco and cigarette products
   • Baby milk products
   • Fuel
   • Gift cards and gift vouchers
   • Lottery products
   • Post Office services
   • PayPoint and other payment services
   • In-store concessions
   • Any other agency or third-party services available in store
7. Eligible members who meet the qualifying criteria will receive an email from Southern Co-op after 5/10/26 containing details of how to claim their free 12-month tastecard membership.
8. tastecard memberships will not be issued immediately following a qualifying purchase of £30. Eligibility will be verified after the promotional period has ended, and before claim emails are sent.
9. Members must claim their free tastecard membership by 5/11/26. Claims received after this date will not be accepted.
10. The tastecard Benefit is provided by Ello Group Limited (“Ello”), the owner and operator of tastecard, and is subject to Ello’s own terms and privacy policy.
11. To access the tastecard Benefit, eligible members must follow the dedicated link in the claim email provided by Southern Co-op, verify their member status and register for the tastecard directly with Ello.
12. The complimentary tastecard membership will be valid for twelve (12) months from activation and will renew annually for as long as Southern Co-op maintains a contracted partnership with Ello.
13. The free tastecard is provided in digital form only; no physical tastecards will be issued.
14. Limited to one free tastecard membership per qualifying member.
15. Employees and colleagues of Southern Co-op are excluded from this promotion.
16. No personal data will be transferred by Southern Co-op to Ello for the purposes of the tastecard promotion. Any data submitted during registration is provided voluntarily by the member to Ello and will be processed in accordance with Ello’s privacy policy.
17. Southern Co-op reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the tastecard Benefit at any time, including where its contractual arrangements with Ello are amended or terminated. Southern Co-op accepts no liability for the operation of tastecard or any products or services supplied by Ello.
18. The reward is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative reward.
19. Southern Co-op will use membership and transaction data to verify eligibility for this promotion.
20. By participating in this promotion, members agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
