Southern Co-op members can help us to make a difference when they shop – because we’ll donate 2p to our local food bank partners when our members buy food, drink and groceries in our food stores.*

Food poverty remains a critical issue faced by millions in the UK, and food banks provide vital support to communities. We work with over 60 local community food banks across our trading area, and you can help support them when you buy food, drinks and groceries by simply scanning your Southern Co-op membership card every time you shop in a Southern Co-op food store.

Our member donations from this community reward scheme are distributed every six months, and split equally between the local food banks we work with.

The more you shop and use you membership card, the more we can donate – so remember to bring your card (or use the card on our app) every time you visit.

You can also help by donating goods at a food bank collection point in one of our 92 supporting retail stores. To find your nearest retail store drop off point, go to our Store Finder, pop in your postcode and tick the ‘Food Bank’ box on the list of options. You can also drop off donations at any of the following Co-operative Funeralcare branches; Andover, Shoreham-By-Sea, Frome, Gillingham or Southsea

*Terms and conditions apply. This community reward scheme applies to Southern Co-op members only and participation results in Southern Co-op donating 2p from every Qualifying Transaction on food, drink and groceries to its food bank partners. To make a Qualifying Transaction members must scan their Southern Co-op membership card at the main till or self checkout. Exclusions apply.
